With one week to go the Biograd Boat Show is Sold Out!

The available exhibitions space for this year’s show filled up at a record pace, leading to an 18th straight record show with more than 300 registered exhibitors and more than 300 vessels on display. Space has been found for some waitlisted exhibitors, expanding the 32,800m2 exhibition area.

Vessel premieres: There will be more than 45 vessels making their Croatian premiere, with some European and world premieres. The biggest draw for international journalists is the World Premiere of the Greenline 36, a diesel/electric hybrid with solar cells, introducing the fifth generation of hybrid technology, by the world’s biggest producer of hybrid yachts.

Entertainment Program – The Biograd Boat Show has an international reputation for its entertainment program, and this year 6 live bands, and 3 DJ’s will be performing over 3 nights, with the Saturday open party being headlined by TBF and just before the show at 21:30, Orion Pirotehnika will put on a large promotional fireworks display.
The Biograd Charter Show takes over Exhibition Hall B – This will offer the biggest selection of yacht charter holidays to consumers, as well as other services such as marinas, and skipper training. On Thursday and Friday (20 -21) the yacht charter and marina industry have many presentations and meetings organized by the HGK, finishing off with a large Charter Friday Party in hall B.

Yacht Charter facts:
•Croatia has by far the largest fleet of charter yacht in the world with over 4000 yachts! •200,000 + Croatian take a Ski Holiday, while just over than 1% of yachts chartered by Croatians
•Most Croatians think that a yacht charter holiday is out of their budget, not realizing that it is on average less than ½ the price of a ski holiday.
•No experience is necessary as a skipper can be your guide

Volvo Expands its Exhibit to Include “Pop-up” Salon and 7 Automobiles
Volvo has long been associated with offshore yacht racing, and this year is expanding its ties with the Biograd Boat Show by building a “Pop-up” salon and will feature 7 automobiles including a special Volvo Ocean Race version. In addition, the Volvo dealer of Split will introduce the World premiere of a 12m motor yacht from the Croatian shipyard Damor.

The “Boat Show Experience”
Sunset marks the end of the exhibition day and the beginning of an on-site evening program offering great food and live entertainment each night, continuing into the town centre until the late hours. Also, many side events take place with themes such as business, education, social, culinary, sport and recreation. Known as the “Boat Show Experience”, it is the key to the show’s success, visible in the eyes of the locals as well as many affluent visitors from Central Europe that make a holiday of the event.

More and more, the show attracts visitors and exhibitors from neighboring countries and afar. Many are introduced to Biograd through its world class calendar of events, or as one of the largest yacht charter destinations in the world, or as one of busiest marinas in Croatia. Regardless the number of international visitors to the Biograd Boat Show increases each year.
Biograd Charter Show (BCS)

As Croatia leads the world in bareboat yacht charter, the Biograd Charter Show is an important yearly meeting point for the industry, and takes place in Hall “B”. On Thursday and Friday It focuses on Business to Business dealings, while the weekend offers consumers the best opportunity to speak directly with charter providers and to take advantage of special offers. A rich charter congress program for the industry is topped off by a grand Charter Friday Party in the Hall “B” restaurant.
