Bayou at Dennis Conner's North Cove - What's that on Deck?!
Charming Bayou, an old friend of Dennis Conner's North Cove, has pulled back into
port this week, taking a slip on the north side. At 124' and with a distinctive
blue hull, she sets a fine sight.
But wait! We've seen her before and now she looks a little different. Is it the
new awnings on the upper deck? Or maybe the new swim platform or the new polish
rail? None of the above.
And if you look a little closer, you will also answer one of the age old questions
of what do they keep on these mega yachts.
The answer - a Amphicar!
Built in 1964, this Amphicar has won several car shows and certainly wins the prize
for most unique mega-yacht toy in 2010. She is part car and part boat. You can
literally drive down the ramp, turn the propellors on and motor away! You can find
