Latest news from Nick Moloney to Dr Krumnacker Segel.de
Nick Moloney is a member of Ellen MacArthur's Offshore Challenges Sailing Team http://www.nickmoloney.com
For interviews on arrival with Nick please contact Lou Newlands Tel +44 (0) 7769 697387. Subject to finish time, an audio file will be available on Sunday evening.

* Nick Moloney, the sole non-frenchman aboard the 110 ft catamaran, is now just a few hundred miles away from becoming the fastest Anglo-Saxon (and Australian!) sailor around the planet...fulfilling the second of his 3 big round the globe dreams (next time its solo!).
* After ORANGE was slowed by the HIGH PRESSURE system they have been sliding along averaging 25 knots in a stronger SOUTH WESTERLY BREEZE recording a fast and furious 565 mile 24 hour run.
* Concern for the MAST ball reindexs but sea conditions are favourable and stable until Saturday evening - after this winds may drop leaving the crew a frustratingly slow sail to the finish line - as so often is the case, the last few miles are likely to be tough ones!
* ETA Sunday at the Ushant finish line at the entrance to the English Channel. Unknown to Nick his parents have flown in from Oz to meet him...
