For anyone still packing their suitcases – the weather here is HOT! With the high pressure system sitting over _blank York state at present, the weather here has been very hot, and increasingly humid – just like England really!
The race office is now set up onboard the USS Edson which is part of the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. For all visiting friends/family and Clipper groupies you will find us by:
Coming to the Intrepid – the address is West 46th Street and 12th Avenue.

|
Once you get to the Intrepid site, go to the security hut on the right hand side of the index entrance.
Ask the guard if he can contact Sarah Beaugeard/ Clipper onboard the Edson (we are in radio contact) and I will then come and meet you.
It is necessary for all visitors to the Clipper Fleet to get a wrist band from me which will grant you access to our office onboard the Edson and the pontoon where the fleet will be berthing.
Anyone planning still to tour the Intrepid will still be asked to pay an admission fee (but we do have a Clipper discount)
We are keen to get a web of contacts growing for those visiting the Big Apple so please do pop in, get the latest _blanks on the fleet positions and say hi.
Contact numbers –
We have a local mobile number for those of you in NYC - 917 710 3475
or Sarah can be reached on her usual mobile number - +44 7763 147168
We look forward to seeing you soon!
