Barclays Adventurer crosses in second position
Andy Forbes skipper of winning yacht BG SPIRIT in Gunwharf Quays

Update 12.31GMT:
In Gunwharf Quays, there are hordes of people lining the dockside, including a sea of orange BG SPIRIT supporters, including a lady dressed as a carrot. Andy Forbes was initially reunited with his wife, and Sir Chay Blyth was first in with the champagne. There was the traditional photo session with the crew, but of course, this time, they could also lift the Princess Royal Trophy for extra pictures! Andy and his crew are ecstatic.
The workmen in their yellow jackets working on the spinnaker tower have taken a few minutes off to lean on the balcony and watch the proceedings from above.

On the overall leaderboard, BG SPIRIT has secured first place, with a total score of 90 points. With an excellent second position, Barclays Adventurer have got 76 points, provisionally leapfrogging them into second overall, however, this is tentative as they have an Intention to Protest against them at the moment, which means they have a slightly nervous wait to see if the protest is submitted.

Barclays Adventurer was 4 minutes and 8 seconds behind BG SPIRIT. VAIO was 26 minutes and 5 seconds after BG SPIRIT, 18 minutes and 57 seconds behind Barclays Adventurer.
