SPECIAL NEWSFLASH FOR THE FINISH OF THE VENDEE GLOBE 2004
JEAN LE CAM ON BONDUELLE, SECOND IN THE VENDEE GLOBE 2004-2005
It was at 05 hours 22 minutes and 08 seconds GMT, today 3 February 2005 that the yellow Open 60 footer Bonduelle skippered by Jean Le Cam broke the finish line of the Vendée Globe 2004, solo round the world race, non stop without assistance, in Sables d’Olonne (France).
His time for the 23 680 miles course is 87 days 17 hours 20 minutes and 08 seconds at an average speed for the theoretical course of 11.24 knots (20,81 km/h).
Jean Le Cam has finished in second place, 06 hours 32 minutes and 13 seconds behind the winner, Vincent Riou on PRB.
