Jersey, westernaustralia.com, Cardiff, Liverpool 08 and Durban are approaching the first lock at Miraflores and are expected to lock in at approximately 1100 local time (1600 GMT). To view the boats live online in the locks, log on to web cams at http://www.pancanal.com The last five yachts slipped their lines from Flamenco Marina at approximately 0600 local time this morning and anchored at the mouth of the Panama Canal before picking up their pilots and proceeding under the Bridge of the Americas towards the first set of locks.
