ELLEN MACARTHUR’S ARRIVAL PLANS IN FALMOUTH
Falmouth has been chosen as the arrival port, following the spectacular turn out when she left in late November 2004, for its excellent facilities and the enthusiasm of those connected with the bid to get TeamEllen to finish here.

Everyone will be on stand-by for a huge welcoming party by the thousands of well-wishers who have followed her progress, as she has sailed, single-handed, non-stop around the world. With Ellen docking her trimaran B&Q at Port Pendennis Marina, the National Maritime Museum and Event Square will be key focal points over this period.

Plans for Event Square
* A huge daylight screen just outside the Maritime Museum and on the Events Square will launch on Saturday 5th, to start counting down the days to the end of the record attempt.

* A live TV feed will be broadcast onto the screen providing stunning aerial scenes and strategically positioned cameras tracking her around the Pendennis headland and will capture her first steps on dry land.

* Ellen will appear on the index public stage in the square after she has docked.

* Live reports of all the activity from the press conference will not only be beamed around the world but will also be fed onto the big screen keeping all the supporters on the Events Square right in the heart of the action.
