HURRICANES DOMINATE THE WEATHER PICTURE
The hurricane season normally runs from July through to December and is now in full swing - the effects of these potentially destructive weather systems have made themselves known in the last few weeks. Already three other hurricanes - Maria, Nate and Ophelia are being closely tracked on the hurricane radar.
As such, the North Atlantic weather is extremely unsettled and Ellen's team have to patiently wait until a more suitable 'record-breaking' weather window appears. Latest weather forecasts from Commander's show no potential weather system and the team are expected to be on standby mode Red for at least another week or longer depending on how the weather evolves.
