"Reflections from Roxy". by Sam Davies
"Reasons to get there :
1. To see my cheri
2. To beat Yannik Bestaven
3. To get ROXY into refit as quickly as possible
4. To be able to go to sleep for 12 hours non stop. In my bed!

Reasons to stay out here:
1. To keep sailing, having fun!
2. It's much hotter here than there
3. To avoid Christmas shopping

Things I am looking forward to:
1. My cheri
2. My bathroom - bath, shower, products, heated towel rail, toilet with a flush, mirror....
3. A cold beer (plural!)
4. A cup of Earl Grey tea in a china mug with real milk
5. Wearing nice clothes
6. La boulangerie
7. Reading girly magazines

Things I'm not looking forward to:
1. My mobile phone
2. My accounts session and doing all the expenses receipts
3. Not being able to go sailing on Roxy for 3 months
4. Walking (because I have no leg muscles left!)

Things I'll miss:
1. The night sky with no light pollution
2. Eating as much chocolate as I like without anyone seeing!
3. Godfrey (my flying fish)
4. The solitude
5. This list is endless...... "
