Blowing into the Atlantic with the Horn section

Thursday and Friday’s Visio-Conferences will be broadcast live, linking Barcelona World Race duos with the Global Sports Forum which is taking place in Barcelona.
Seven teams are now in the Atlantic, Groupe Bel, Mirabaud and Estrella Damm all passed the mythical milestone since last night. Groupe Bel are expected in Ushuaia this evening from 1800hrs UTC After the passage of Cape Horn yesterday Neutrogena had to deal with a second technical problem last night when their Solent stay fitting parted.

The battle continues in the light airs of the high pressure in the South Atlantic as Jean-Pierre Dick and Loïck Peyron on Virbac-Paprec 3 try to escape into the oxygen of the south easterly trade winds, but still through the early part of Wednesday the gains of Spain’s MAPFRE have carried on.
