Cowes Yacht Haven - Thank you
Just a few of the words we would like to use to show our thanks for your support during this year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week. With day after day of great sailing and shoreside events, it was so nice to see so many of you enjoy the food, entertainment and - of course - the world famous beer tent in the evenings. It would be true to say that we have not seen such a busy Cowes Week in the Yacht Haven for over ten years. Every night, we have been full of party people and on a couple of nights we had to close the doors because it was so busy!
The week’s entertainment reaches a peak tomorrow with what is fast becoming another Cowes Week tradition, in the form of the Isle of Wight Radio Cowes Week bash. It’s free entry tomorrow night (Saturday 9 August 2014), with live music from Kevin 17 and the amazing Bohemians, plus the team from Isle of Wight Radio on stage.
Moor for Less
As you will know from our previous newsletters, next year is going to be even bigger but will cost you less. In fact some bright spark in our marketing team came up the phrase ‘Moor for Less’ (you may have seen our lovely lime green t-shirts during the week). 'Moor for Less' is to celebrate Cowes Town Waterfront Trust’s 21st Anniversary, and we are delighted to announce that visitors to next year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week are set to benefit from even better value berthing at the heart of the celebrations.
Offering an unsurpassed location in the centre of this prestigious regatta and unrivaled access to the bustling town of Cowes, the Yacht Haven also boasts incredible facilities and one of the best vantage points.
Now all of these benefits can be enjoyed at more than a 10% reduction for 2015; the current Cowes Week berthing cost is set to drop to £9.95 per metre.
