A fighting chance on the rade?
It all starts for real today for the GP42 Series as they start their Marseille Trophy regatta while the TP52 Series should carry on into Races 4 and 5. &xnbsp; &xnbsp;
Both fleets have been held ashore as the breeze out on the rade reindexs unsettled. With a south easterly gradient having a tussle with the sea breeze as it builds it could be a tricky scenario. So, perhaps a sense of déjà vu after yesterday? Quantum Racing (USA) will be looking to carry on their winning momentum that they built, while Matador (ARG) too will be trying to keep their consistent scoreline. For Circuit leaders Emirates Team New Zealand (NZL), their focus is not going to be going out to take risks to win races but simply to get back up there, and do just what Matador did so successfully yesterday – knock in the regular 2nds, 3rds and 4ths – &xnbsp;which keep you in the upper reaches of the charts. Simon Fisher (GBR) Cristabella (GBR): “There is a low sitting up in the gulf and that is giving us a light SE’ly gradient at the moment. This is looking like a sea-breeze day, but with the SE’ly gradient it is not going to be easy for the wind to get going. It is similar to yesterday, but with a slightly different synoptic pattern, and the trend is towards the right which will be interesting and I think we might even race on the north course area.
