UK/Cowes/Multihull World Series / Red Bull Extreme Sailing
Cowes 2011: Double Olympic gold medal winners take 4th place
Despite two false starts and thanks to three subsequent podiums on the final
day, Red Bull Extreme Sailing finished up in a strong fourth place
overall in the Act 5 of the 9-Act 2011 Multihull World Series of the
coast of Cowes (Isle of Wight). The Austrian boat was within striking
range of a podium but in constantly shifting conditions during the
seven days of racing ended up in a solid fourth place in the world’s
best sailing series.
