Incidences Sails alongside Energy Team in Venice
http://www.incidences-sails.com
The French boat, skippered by Loick Peyron won this Sunday, May 20 its first victory on the circuit of the Americas's Cup World Series. Equipped with Incidences sails, Energy Team benefits from the world-renowned experience of the French sailmaker in multihulls on the AC45 circuit, accompanied and supported by Jean-Baptiste Le Vaillant. This teamwork between Yann Guichard, Loick Peyron and the sailmaker based in La Rochelle, pays off at the end of stage 5.
Jean-Baptiste Le Vaillant : "This is a wonderful victory for Energy Team at the end of a real international confrontation. The French boat has shown an incredible overall speed, especially downwind. I was in Venice last week to adjust the sails before the race so that they were adapted to the racing area. On this AC45 circuit, the headsails are the only element that can be customized, as the boat is a strict one-design. With the victory of Energy team, Incidences Sails clearly displays its expertise in the multihull segment at an international level and with an incredible audience. "
With financial means much lower than the other teams, this victory should help the Peyron brothers in finding new partners to accompany them on this great adventure of AC45, before tackling the America's Cup. The next and last appointment of this first season will be held in Newport (USA) from June 26 to July 1.
