Secrets have been lifted
At yesterdays RVS Meeting (Regatta Vereinigung Seesegeln - Germanys official Offshore Sailing Organisation) Henning Rocholl, CEO of NRV and Event Director of the Baltic Sprint Cup, has announced the 6th edition of the Baltic Sprint Cup - now under the burgee and under control of the NRV.
Both, Dr. Wolfgang Schäfer (DSV offshore chairman) and Christian Plump (DSV offshore vice chairman and NRV offshore board member) were present while the course was added to Germanys official offshore regatta calendar.
The regatta series will run under ORC international and ORC club. The index eligibilities for the yachts are
¦GPH less than or equal to 600, or
¦LOA greater than or equal to 40 ft by abitration of the Pricipal Race Officer.
More details will be given at the NRV-evening on hanseboot boat show on Wednesday, November 2nd at 18:00 at the NRV stand B.221 / hall A4 where also a pre entry list will be opened. All former BSC-participants will be informed by e-mail, all others by the NRV newsletter.
Notice to all who haven't participated in one of the previous BSC series: the Baltic Sprint Cup is a great international event with a lot of friendship, hot races and much fun. Just send an email for your pre-registration in order to get privileged information.
