Extreme Sailing Series™ Act 7 Nice, presented by Land Rover
Programme 5 of the 2013 official TV Series is brought to you by double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson from the penultimate Act of the global tour on the Cote d’Azur, presented by Land Rover. Thousands lined the Promenade des Anglais to take in all the action from the Nice stadium as eight Extreme 40 catamarans with 40 of the worlds best sailors showcased their talents with the addition of home invitational team ‘the first club by ALL4ONE’. Nice provided a battle that was contested in some of the most extreme conditions the fleet have encountered this season with 25 knots and two metre swell delivering what was described as “the best racing all year” by the Extreme 40 sailors.
