Moët & Chandon is now the official champagne of 12-Meter "America II." Franklin Isacson (left) and Whitley Bouma of Moët & Chandon joined Commodore Michael Fortenbaugh (right) for the signing ceremony.
This is just the first of many ceremonies expected this summer. Moët & Chandon is helping to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Louis Vuitton Cup, the challengers series of the America's Cup. America II is also celebrating her 20th Anniversary and she raced in the first Louis Vuitton Cup in Australia in 1987. And America II is now the flagship of Manhattan Sailing Club which is also celebrating its 20th Anniversary this summer! Stay tuned for more information. The Moët & Chandon Christening Ceremony will be Thursday, May 31 at North Cove. And during the summer, Moët & Chandon will be inviting press and media to experience the thrill of 12 Meter sailing in front of the skyline of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. This will be a great New York City experience.

This is the annual black tie party which celebrates the start of the new sailing season. Dennis Conner the world's most famous sailor, will be there this year.
