Imagine yourself onboard the yacht below sailing from St. Marteen to St. Barths.
It's day #2 of "De Caribbean Regatta," the annual week of sailing vacation when New Yorkers fly down to the islands for fun, sun, sailing and socializing.
This year, the islands will be St. Marteen, St. Barths and Anguilla. There will be an extra day of rest on St. Barths.
It's always a magical experience. You can be part of it. Start by reading the itinerary. Then view the list of skippers and boats. www.myc.org/Caribbean/st%20barths/St%20Maarten%20St%20Barths%202008.htm
Tonight (Wed, 11/28), there will also be a Caribbean Pump Up Party from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Floating Classroom at North Cove. If you have Caribbean spirit in you, come down, listen to some music and hear more about this great sailing vacation.

Volunteers are needed to help build and operate the Holiday Train Garden. This will be the second year of this incredible project. A large model train display is constructed on the sailing club's floating clubhouse which will be docked at North Cove. Then kids and their parents are invited onboard for a little Holiday magic. The grand opening of this year's Train Garden will be Thursday, December 13. After this, the Train Garden will be open on Thursday & Friday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If you have an interest in model trains and would be willing to volunteer your time or have a business that would like to be a sponsor, please send an email to mike@sailmanhattan.com. This Train Garden makes kids smiles and gives them wonderful memories. It's magic. You should be involved.
