l'Hydroptere closes on 48.7 knot sailing speed record

Beneteau's perform well at Skandia Geelong Week
Conditions in the first two days raced off Williamstown were excellent with light winds early and then building to 15-18 knots. The sea breeze didn't fill as early as it would typically and sea state was bearable on the first day with a small one metre chop and flat. Light conditions for the passage race early finishing with a lovely SE breeze. Wombat rounds the Pyramid
Australian Tom Braidwood is aiming to be the first Australian to race and win the famous Mini Transat race. Mirsky leads Warren Jones Youth Regatta 2007
The Royal Perth Yacht Club's skipper Torvar Mirsky (AUS) blasted undefeated through the second day of the ISAF Grade 3 Warren Jones International Youth Regatta, on the Swan River, to end the day with a clear two point lead over Sydney's Murray Gordon (AUS). With Graham Dalton pulling back on to the VELUX 5 OCEANS race course at 19:00 UTC Tuesday night, Sir Robin Knox Johnston and his Open 60 Saga Insurance were just too far behind to overtake the Kiwi skipper.
