Life At The Extremehas taken a further leap into the digital age with the
launch of an electronic version of the official magazine of the Volvo Ocean Race.
Containing the regular mix of news, views and features, and stunning photography, the July 2007 issue can be downloaded in full colour to your PC or laptop.

Dip in and out of the news section, read what Race CEO Glenn Bourke has to say in his regular column or look into the past lives of previous race campaigners and read the opinions of those in the know. It’s all available now, free and online.
“The digital version of the magazine is great news for those race followers who are fed on a diet of online information,” said Glenn Bourke. “It enables us to keep pace with the advancements in modern media delivery and take the race to a vast online community.
“At the same time traditionalists can still get their hands on a hard copy of the magazine through the regular subscription service.”
In the current issue we reflect on the latest port and syndicate announcements. The race’s visit to Boston is not only a fillip for the local economy but also a global platform for the Save The Harbour/Save The Bay environmental campaign.
A Pedro Campos-managed Spanish two-boat assault has been confirmed for 2008-09. In a revealing interview, Campos says that despite the sinking of Spain’s movistar in 2005-06, he has a score to settle this time round.

The Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09 will be the 10th running of this ocean marathon. Starting from Alicante in Spain, it will for the first time, take in ports in Asia. Spanning some 39,000 nautical miles, stopping at around 11 ports and taking nine months to complete, the Volvo Ocean Race is the world’s premier yacht race for professional racing crews.
