As one of the top 10 505-class helmsmen between 2005 and 2007, he crossed the finishing line in eleventh place in the Minitransat (2001), and took second place in the single-handed Artemis Transat aboard the Class 40 Beluga (2008), first place in the Global Ocean Race – a two-handed round-the-world in the Class 40 – fifth place on the ’60 Neutrogena in the Barcelona World Race – two-handed non-stop round-the-world (2010-2011).
