A party for owners and charterers of yachts entered in the Rolex Transatlantic Challenge was held at the New York Yacht Club on Wednesday May 18th. 132 guests and members attended. Said Commodore George R. Hinman Jr. the race is dedicated to the late Rich von Doenhoff, who ran the Atlantic Challenge Cup, this race’s predecessor, sailed in 1997. The photo shows Robert Towbin, chair of the Rolex Transatlantic Challenge.
