Queen Sofía visits Desafío Español 2007
Her Majesty Queen Sofía of Spain visited Port America's Cup on Thursday, particularly the base of the home team challenger, Desafío Español 2007. The Queen met with every team member.
The Queen toured around the boat sheds and met all the professionals involved. The salors and shore crew explained to the Queen how the ACC boats worked. She also visited the sail loft and mast indextenance area.
The visit of the Queen concluded with her signing the honour book of the team where she wished success to the team when racing begins in April.
