New race added
The 2018 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is already planning the 47th annual race, with new innovations, parties and races. March 26- April 1, the waters of the British Virgin Islands will be filled with competitors from across the globe coming to the Warm Waters ~ Hot Racing and Cool Parties that the BVI Spring Regatta is known for.
New for 2018 will be a long distance race around our 64 islands. Starting with the Round Tortola Race for the Nanny Cay Cup, sailors will continue to circumnavigate all the islands of the BVI’s under the light of a full moon. Dubbed The Full Moon Race~ 64 Islands ~ One Brilliant Night, the challenge is on for this 165-mile race.
Registration is open for all races and all the fun. Need more housing or support? Our EIS (Elite Island Services) can help with logistics including finding larger accommodation, rental cars and other island services to make the 2018 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival super easy and super fun.

ABOUT THE BVI SPRING REGATTA:
The 46th BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival will take place between March 27- April 2, 2017. The BVI Spring Regatta and the Sailing Festival is one of the top three Caribbean sailing events, with an average of 110 yachts per year with 60% of the competitors from overseas. The BVI Spring Regatta is jointly owned by the Royal BVI Yacht Club and the BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association
The BVI Spring Regatta is the one Caribbean Regatta that has something for everyone who attends. Whether you race, cruise, practice or just come to party, we have it all! The weeklong BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival takes you throughout the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Starting at Nanny Cay, the Sailing Festival is two days of warm up racing. 2018 will include the Full Moon Race, a 165 miles race around the country of the British Virgin Islands, under a full moon
Next up, the BVI Spring Regatta kicks off three days of challenging Caribbean racing. Only the best survive to take home the Gold and the Glory, along with great stories and experiences that keep sailors coming back year after year. The sailing week provides options to enter all five races of the BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival, or to take part in just the Festival, or the three-day Spring Regatta. With a huge choice of shore side accommodations and activities, there’s no need to leave your loved ones at home
